Field trip « Petrochro in the Montagne Noire » (P. Trap & F. Roger)

The genesis of the Montagne Noire migmatitic dome occurred between 315 and 300 Ma and was accompanied by a complex structural history. Through the study of key outcrops, the field trip will guide you from the metasedimentary cover to the migmatitic core. The trip will be an excellent opportunity to discuss about dating deformation and metamorphism in subsolidus and super-solidus conditions.
